For families, moving to Indonesia is a big adventure! However, this adventure brings challenges for all. For many, the relocation means a cut into their social and professional life. Friends are left behind at home and the spouse, mostly not permitted to work in Indonesia, has paused or even given up their own career to follow their partner. After arriving in Indonesia, many expat families have to deal with a totally different environment, language, and culture, not to mention that a new social network has to be built up from scratch.
Learn how to create a temporary home in Indonesia!
This one to two-day coaching supports your family during its first days in Indonesia. In the convenient environment of the new home, family members are prepared individually for their time in Indonesia. While the working expat learns about i.e. business culture and leadership styles, the spouse finds out how to build up a social network and to deal with maids and helpers at home. According to their age, children get in touch with the new culture through pictures and while playing.
I support each family member to develop awareness for cultural differences in everyday life and also to apply their newfound knowledge about the Indonesian culture. Let me guide you through this transition into a new chapter of life!
